Rubber adhesive, conveyor belt joint adhesive, two-component modified chloroprene rubber, fast curing at room temperature, aging resistance, high bonding strength, good toughness, can be loaded and operated after bonding. It is an ideal material for cold seamless splicing of multi-layer rubber conveyor belts in metallurgy, mining, power, transportation and other industries.
Adhesive between uncured rubber and uncured rubber
The adhesion between uncured rubber is extremely common in the manufacturing process of rubber adhesive products, where components are bonded and adhered to each other. The bonding between uncured rubber is generally done using thermal bonding method, because the rubber material generally has good bonding performance during hot bonding. The rolling and pressing process of semi-finished products can use thermal bonding to bond the rubber material components together. When bonding at room temperature, it is necessary to use a solvent to brush the bonding surface of the adhesive material to remove surface impurities and ensure the bonding effect. For adhesive materials with poor bonding performance, they must be coated with adhesive before bonding can be carried out< br />
Generally, natural rubber materials have good self adhesiveness and are easy to form and process. Synthetic rubber materials, especially non-polar ones, have poor self adhesiveness and are difficult to bond. They must be modified appropriately, such as introducing resin into the molecular chain or adding polar resin to the adhesive to improve their bonding performance. When bonding two different adhesives, if there is a significant difference in polarity or unsaturation between the two, in order to ensure the bonding effect, a transitional intermediate adhesive layer should be used during the bonding and molding of the product adhesive. When bonding uncured butyl rubber with natural materials, a chlorinated butyl rubber spoon can be used and a system rubber material can be used as a transition layer. After the transition layer of the formula is vulcanized (at 150 ℃), the peel strength of the bonding between butyl rubber and natural rubber can reach 180mm; 220N/2.5cm. The bonding and transition layer between uncured EPDM rubber and natural rubber compound.
Adhesive between uncured rubber and vulcanized rubber
The bonding technology between uncured rubber and vulcanized rubber is commonly used for tire repair, capsule repair, and the manufacturing of certain rubber products. When sticking, first treat the surface of the vulcanized rubber, such as mechanical grinding or chemical treatment, and then rinse it with a solvent. After drying, apply adhesive and heat cure the dry adhesive film to achieve the purpose of bonding. Adhesives should be formulated based on the type and properties of the vulcanized and uncured rubber being bonded.
Vulcanized rubber and vulcanized rubber bonding
The bonding between vulcanized rubber is much more difficult than the bonding between uncured rubber, because the cross-linked rubber molecular chains are difficult to diffuse and penetrate, greatly reducing the contact opportunities between interface molecules. Moreover, due to the reduction of active functional groups on the vulcanized rubber molecular chains, the opportunities for further chemical bonding between interface molecules are also reduced. In addition, certain components such as plasticizers in the rubber formula are prone to migrate and precipitate onto the surface, which can also affect the good contact between interfacial molecules. These factors are not conducive to the formation of the bonding interface transition layer, thereby affecting the bonding. Before bonding, the surface of vulcanized rubber must be mechanically polished or chemically treated to make it clean, fresh, or modified before selecting a suitable adhesive.
